This song became my reality on June 9, 2024. My dog, Bella, was my 6 year old baby. She had been sniffing around the backyard until a scorpion poked her which made her begin to show symptoms. We rushed her to the vet ER but by the time she had gotten there, she was in critical state. By the time the vets got ahold of her, she fell into cardiac arrest and passed away. I never got a chance to say goodbye. I miss you my precious angel, I love you Bella.

i lost my first sammy cat five years ago, my parents got him just a few months before I was born, his first owners abused and abandoned him, not feeding him enough, leaving him outside in the cold, so my dad would take him in inside and feed him, one day his owners moved away and left him behind, so he waited outside my dad's door almost every night he would cry from downstairs so I would go and comfort him, he would nuzzle me for tens of minutes at a time I miss him so much, he was my best friend

Protection through letting them go would be a foreign concept to them, so we know letting them go is helping them, yet we also know they would think we were betraying them if they knew what was happening.
